Honor and Celebrate on Mother’s Day 2024

Mother’s Day is a special occasion that allows us to honor and appreciate the remarkable women in our lives. It’s also an excellent opportunity for nonprofit organizations to connect with their communities through honoring, remembering, and sharing heartfelt messages. Encouraging community members to share their stories and experiences about their mothers and the extraordinary women in their lives can create a deep, emotional connection, allowing a community to come together and grow.

Honor and Celebrate on Mother’s Day 2024

Mother’s Day offers a unique angle for engagement and giving activities that can be meaningful and fun. Here are a few ideas:

Love Letters: Invite community members to write a love letter to their mom. This can be a powerful way to express gratitude and love, with the added benefit of raising funds. Create a template to share where a love letter can be written and displayed in the back of a Church or a gathering space. Add your GCSmartQR code to the template so someone can make a gift, leave a prayer intention, sign up to receive your communications, or receive more information on your location.

When they engage with your SmartQR code – engage them back – grow your community, and spread the love within your community to them!

Honoring that someone special: Set up a Mother’s Day event where a gift can be made to honor someone special. This will allow those who have lost someone special to be able to honor them. Mother’s Day can be difficult for those who have lost someone special, and allowing them to give in their honor can enable them to heal and celebrate that special someone they love.

Allow your community to offer up their intentions by using your short form on your admin dashboard, copy the SmartQR code, and add it to your bulletin, pew card, flyer, or special Mother’s Day card.
