A Mobile Giving Success Story To Get Inspired From

St ita church chicago text to give case study for church

How St. Ita in Chicago used text giving to inspire their donors and raise $40,000 in three months.

Mobile giving is more important than ever. Nonprofit text messaging audiences grew by 26% in 2019 (at a time when Facebook audiences grew by only 4%).

GiveCentral has always prioritized mobile giving, offering a quick donor signup and donation process, and sleek giving pages that are mobile-responsive and designed to look great on any device.

What’s more? Your donor data is secure and you have a complete control over your data. You’ll also gain access to advanced tools like Salesforce CRM, data integration, a customized look and branded donation experience.

Supported by other great online best practices, our partners like St. Ita Catholic Church in Chicago have been successfully able to reach their fundraising goals, each month.

How GiveCentral Text-to-Engage works (advanced text-to-give)

1. You choose a keyword.

Available to all nonprofits with a monthly subscription to our tools, the Text-to-Give feature is located on your dashboard.

Each organization is assigned a unique texting number and can create multiple keywords- evergreen or targeted to specific campaigns.

2. Tie your texting number to a campaign

Create a new campaign or add texting to an existing one (we find that providing multiple options for giving to donors increases volume!)

3. Donors complete their donation.

Once the donor texts the keyword to your number, they’ll receive a response. Then they’ll click on their link in the text message to complete their donation in whatever amount they choose. And that’s it! GiveCentral sends their donation confirmation and receipt.
