Looking back at a great year 2019!

Nonprofit Year-end review

“Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together.”

2019 has been a year full of improvements, innovations and improvisations for GiveCentral. We have grown in our path to building a great nonprofit fundraising platform with fruitful integrations, that add to the convenience of our users. Looking back at this year, here are the major updates that shaped the highlights for this year:

Custom Giving Pages
Bringing creativity to the hands of fundraisers, we provided them with the ability to enhance their donors’ fundraising experience with amazing custom fundraising pages. They can now create their own pages with attractive banners. Fundraisers can also choose from multiple themes that have been updated on the platform.

Revamping Donor Profile
Donor profiles are of great use for our clients, as this data is useful in many forms – contacting, retaining or informing them about the impact of each donor’s support. Moreover, added features such as household management and relationship management, help the administrators classify their donors better and understand the giving trends as well as their needs.

Also, features such as seasonal address and sacraments help administrators target their donors for specific nonprofit events.

Fuzzy Search
Spelling mistakes and typos are very natural. We do not want our clients to go through any trouble due to such trivial issues. Therefore we implemented Fuzzy and Elastic search. If someone interchanges the letters, the search is intelligent enough to determine the closest matches. Aslo, elastic search is a no sql database that indexes the data making the search even easier.

Visitor System – Dynamic forms
With GiveCentral’s Texting tools, we have built Dynamic forms to help administrators solicit their visitor’s data in quick and easy steps. There is a form for quick updation (with basic information) or broader information (including households, sacraments, etc.)

Text-To-Give Express Setup
People give more when it is made easy. To help you kick off the year-end fundraising season, we made events convenient. Use GiveCentral’s Express Setup to create events quickly. In four simple steps, you can set up an event of your choice and include the best features that suit you. Also, with express communications personalize the communications and spread your word on social media.

We understand that communicating during such a high time can be messy and might go wrong if not initiated properly.

Intelligent Dashboard
To keep our clients informed, we added a new Intelligent Dashboard that updates them about the latest blog being published on GiveCentral’s website. These blogs contain informative and inspiring content related to fundraising techniques, trends and advances with GiveCentral as well as in and around the world.

Smart Tokens
A smart-token is a personalized, secure button link that makes it easy for your donors to increase or add new giving with one quick click. Inserting personalized tokens in your mail can help you create a better connection with the audience and improve their experience. They make it easy for the donors to increase or add new giving with one quick click.

To make use of this, we created smart tokens for our clients that they could use while sending emails. There are four preset tokens – Recurring Gift, One-time Gift, Increase Recurring Gift, Digital Pledge Card. The clients can Identify the smart-token that aligns with their giving goal and select an existing or create a new template for the email.

GiveCentral SF integration
We have been working with the Sales Cloud for a long time. Meanwhile we were looking for options in Salesforce to help manage our clients’ data better. In February 2019, we discovered Salesforce NPSP and looked for its potential with GiveCentral’s platform. Our experts created a demo for our nonprofit clients that initially managed just the donations received by them. We shared this demo with a few clients and following a positive feedback, we decided to go ahead with it.

Our clients helped us with a lot of constructive feedback, enhancements and new features. After making the required updates, we created the Batch-Entry tool that helps Churches and Parishes record their offline fundraising data in a much more organized manner and store it in their Salesforce accounts. With upcoming updates, we brought in features like relationship management, household management, sacraments, etc that helped our clients map and identify their donors in a significantly organized way. This also helped them track the donor habits and preferences.

Moreover, for organizations joining Salesforce recently or for new clients, we help them in a smooth transition with Data Sanity methods and smooth imports. We also give our clients the privilege to integrate ActiveCampaign and their Facebook accounts with Salesforce to store and nurture leads better. This whole system was made live in November. The first nonprofit to embrace it was the Sacred Hearts and St. Stephen Parish. In December, we implemented this system for the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church as well.
