Introducing Digital Wallets for Our Donors

We at GiveCentral are thrilled to announce the availability of digital wallets as a new option for donor contributions across all locations! This enhancement aims to make giving more convenient, secure, and accessible for everyone.

While most options, such as Google Pay and Paze can be implemented immediately, Apple Pay requires an additional review and acceptance of specific terms. Please read this message thoroughly to make an informed decision about enabling these services.

Google Pay and Paze will be live first, Apple Pay will require the opt-in, and PayPal and Venmo will be live soon.

Key Details on PayPal and Venmo

To enable PayPal and Venmo, you’ll need to take the following steps:

  1. Set Up Individual Accounts: Clients must create and manage their accounts with these platforms.
  2. Provide Access: Grant necessary access to allow these options to integrate seamlessly with your giving systems.

Important Notes for PayPal and Venmo Users:

  • Fund Processing: Deposits and settlements occur outside our current processes.
  • Reporting Limitations: While we can track and validate transactions, detailed reporting will be accessible only directly through PayPal and Venmo.
  • Timing Variances: Fund availability may differ from other wallets like Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Paze.

Apple Pay – Additional Terms and Requirements

To use Apple Pay, your organization must agree to the following requirements:

Unless exempt from applicable laws that otherwise prohibit such discrimination, the NPO represents and warrants that it does not discriminate against any person or group of people in its hiring and employment practices, codes of conduct, programs, services, or in any other aspect of its operations or activities based on that person or group of people’s characteristics or attributes. For clarity, discrimination, as defined, includes but is not limited to hiring and employment policies or practices that discriminate against a person or group of people based on their sexual orientation or gender identity, even if such policies and practices are permitted under applicable law.

Important Considerations for Apple Pay

  • Consult Legal Counsel: We strongly encourage you to review this clause with your legal advisors.
  • Non-Enforceability Debate: Some clients who consulted legal counsel believe this term may not be enforceable. However, Deluxe cannot provide legal guidance on this matter.

Your Decision

Please inform your decision by choosing one of the following options:

  • Accept Apple Pay Terms: Our location accepts the Apple Pay requirement and would like to enable Apple Pay for our donors.
  • Decline Apple Pay Terms: Our location chooses to decline Apple Pay By enabling Digital Wallets, you can offer donors a streamlined, modern way to support your organization while embracing cutting-edge financial technology.

Choose the options that best align with your organization’s values and operational needs.
