GiveCentral recently added the option for using Digital Wallets (https://www.givecentral.org/digital-wallets), but we’re not stopping there! In 2025, we will introduce new features allowing donors to utilize DAFs (Donor Advised Funds), NFCs (Near Field Communications), Tap-to-Give, and other valuable giving tools to our already robust set of features.
Thanks for your response to help the Fire Victims in Los Angeles! So far, over $530,000 dollars have been raised and sent directly to help victims in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. It’s also a great example of GiveCentral’s ability to mobilize crowdfunding quickly, efficiently, and effectively. Crowdfunding is just one of the ways GiveCentral can help in an emergency!
Thinking about the many gifts given and shared over Christmas and the incredible outpouring of love for the fire victims in recent weeks, along with all the little unknown moments of care and kindness performed for others every day, I am reminded of the words of that great American philosopher, Fred Rogers (of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood). To wit:
“I am proud of you for standing up for something you believe in – something that wasn’t particularly popular, but that assured the rights of someone less fortunate than you.” – Fred Rogers
